“To see the mental health of my entire generation in the healing hands of Jesus.”

My story is my story, but every time I tell it I discover so many people in my generation can relate. I am no stranger to the crippling effects of anxiety and depression. But I am no stranger to the presence of God, and what He can do for every last one of us.

To me The Walk is more than clothing. And it’s more than a brand. It’s a movement. Away from having to curate a life the world will validate. And toward the genuine version of ourselves that shines the way God made us to shine.

I have spent a good portion of my life navigating mental health challenges - some of them very serious. But on my worst days I have known the love of Jesus that compels me into empathy for others on the same path. And I’ve found that what we can’t endure on our own, we can face together.

The idea of community is more than a healthy social circle of support. It is the very crossroads at which the love of Christ moves from theory into action.

To walk The Walk together is to commit to that kind of connection. To slip on a sweatshirt that shares your honest, real story is to raise your hand and say “hey, I’m here for you...” And if ever there was a generation that needed that kind of courage, ours is it.
